Scent Memory & Nostalgia

I read an article about scent and how it can trigger a memory or transport you to a physical and emotional place. It was explaining how people these days have increased loneliness and are finding ways to have a human connection - (which is not surprising). 

Living in this over stimulated world has definitely brought an awareness to how important it is for the collective memory to be sustainable.

Our mental health and well-being is a tremendous part of daily interactions...scent included! I said to myself as I continued to research this topic... it's definitely amazing how our brain correlates a smell to retentiveness and it totally evokes an emotional response that can bring joy, pain, happiness, fear, etc... 

How many times have you heard "This smells like my mom/dad." or "My ex wore xyz... and I can't smell that scent anymore, it brings back too many memories!" 

Then I thought .... I'm so excited to be a part of the fragrance communities scent memories, reaching people that are into "Nostalgia-Centric" fragrance is the ultimate goal for Areya Fragrance! 

My hope is that our fragrances bring you peace and happiness, joy beyond your wildest dreams, also a memory that was and is freakin epic!
